This member highlight is all about Jeremy Moreland. He currently resides in Caldwell, Idaho. He loves fishing for largemouth bass but won’t turn down any kind of fish. He’s also a die-hard ice fisherman. He loves hunting or anything outdoors. Some of his favorites include jeeping in the Owyhees, pond fishing, and chasing trout on the Boise River. As long as it’s outdoors, he’s living life to the fullest.

One highlight of his life was he got to go to Africa hunting with his father a few years back and really loved that trip. Jeremy grew up working in his dad’s automotive shop changing oil and busting tires starting at the ripe age of 10, he’s worked as a correctional officer and a firefighter/EMT. Jeremy currently works for Idaho Custom Rain Gutters as a crew lead where he works with Brandon Fullenkamp, his co-angler and fishing buddy who introduced him to bass fishing. Last year was their first year tournament fishing and they had a blast fishing and learning from everyone.

Jeremy has two children, Emma and Tyson, both four years old and he shares his time between them, fishing and his beautiful girlfriend Kaylinn. Jeremy did well in his first season with the club and even got the chance to fish the Snow Bowl and also traveled to Montana to fish in the The Idaho Bass Federation Division Championship.

Jeremy has had a gauntlet of little tin boats over the years. It all started with an eight foot Livingston that he earned enough money hauling hay when he was 16. He now runs a Ranger Boats aluminum rig that he loves fishing out of.

Some unique things about Jeremy are his beard is over a foot long and when he first moved to Idaho, he lived in a bunk house on his grandmother’s ranch in Grandview, Idaho.
